Stay alert to pension scams

Unfortunately, there are people out there who will do almost anything to get their hands on your hard-earned pension. If you’re ever contacted out of the blue by someone claiming to be able to help you access your pension before the age of 55, hang up immediately. Scammers are becoming more sophisticated, so stay alert, and if anything doesn’t feel right, be cautious and seek advice from The Pensions Regulator at www.pension-scams.com or phone 0800 138 7777.
